Alzheimer’s is one of the most common diseases that affect the seniors in the United States. It’s a progressive brain disease that affects their ability to think clearly, take care of daily living tasks, and so on, which adult home care can help with. Of course, the number one symptom of this disease is the memory loss.
Unfortunately, there’s still no cure for Alzheimer’s disease, so most of the patients end up dying. Sometimes it happens quickly, and sometimes they struggle with the illness for many years. Even though the scientists are working hard on finding the cure for this disease, they keep on hitting a dead end.
Of course, this doesn’t mean they will give up. Only by working hard and raising awareness about this disease can they finial get to deal with it. Speaking of Alzheimer’s disease awareness, June is the US National Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month. With that in mind, we’ve decided to share some important facts about this brain disease. Here they are!
