Lisa Carson, RN, BSN, CCM, owner of Comfort Keepers Lubbock and San Angelo, has been accepted as a certified member of The National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Management (NAPGCM). As a member of NAPGCM, Lisa adheres to the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics developed by the association and its members to ensure public accountability. Lisa, practicing as a geriatric care manager since September 2011, is the only person in San Angelo to hold this prestigious certification.
Lisa provides guidance and advocacy for families who are caring for older relatives or disabled adults. With a specialized focus on issues related to aging and elder care, she assists clients with such challenges of aging as finding appropriate housing, in-home care, referrals to medical providers or elder law attorneys, as well as the advocacy and support that provides families peace of mind.
